Step 1: Sign up for a Free Intro Session and Workout

We host free intro sessions by appointment to give you a chance to check out our space, learn more about CrossFit and see how we operate. It’s also an opportunity for us to get to know you and your goals and discuss how CrossFit CU can help you achieve them.

At the intro session, we’ll cover the basics of who we are and what we do. You’ll be able to ask any questions you like about CrossFit, our program and our policies. We’ll wrap things up with a free intro workout in which you’ll get to experience the small-group coaching atmosphere and a sampling of a typical CrossFitCU workout (don’t worry, we guarantee it’s something you can do!).

Step 2: Learn the Fundamentals

To begin with, all new CFCU athletes attend On-Ramp classes (see the Training Schedule for the times) at which we focus on detailed instruction of the movements involved in the WOD.  While these classes are open to athletes of all levels, the On-Ramp is designed to arm beginners with the knowledge and experience needed to maximize success and enjoyment of CrossFit.

Step 3: Continue as a CFCU Athlete

Once you’ve completed all of the 8 On-Ramp classes, you are welcome to move on to the WOD sessions.  With workouts scaled to your ability and designed to increase your capacity, you’ll be off and running (both figuratively and literally) and on your way to new levels of fitness.

But it doesn’t stop there.  CrossFit CU is a team, community, and sport.  We hang out.  We have fun.  We learn and grow together.  Opportunities for involvement abound, and the best success comes for those who dig in and see that this is about much more than just a workout.
